Courtney’s name may seem familiar, as she was a Fieldwork Student with SPRA this last winter. Courtney will be supporting both the June is Recreation & Parks Month and Communities in Bloom programs throughout the next four months.
Here's what Courtney has to say about returning to SPRA in this new position:
Hi! I am delighted to be back with SPRA after completing my Fieldwork Placement and finishing my degree in Sport and Recreation Management at the University of Regina. Working as the Summer Program Development Assistant is an exciting opportunity for me to support these programs and be able to use my passion for events, volunteerism, and recreation.
When I am not working, I enjoy taking my dog for hikes, paddle boarding and playing volleyball. I am thankful to be a part of such a great organization and a wonderful industry!
