Nikanetan is an experiential education program for students in grade 8. The focus is on teamwork and leadership and is designed to re-engage youth who are at risk of dropping out of school.
Twice a year, the SaskOutdoors $upport Program offers funding to groups and classes around Saskatchewan for outdoor education experiences and environmental action projects. In 2014, one of these projects was the Sakewew Permaculture & Treaty Education Program organized by Sakewew High School and Nature Saskatchewan.
Saskatchewan Physical Education Association Inc. (SPEA) is one of 32 Provincial Recreation Associations supported by the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation. These organizations are instrumental in delivering quality recreation experiences across the province.
