Who should be nominated: Anyone whose leadership increased the value of parks and recreation at the local, regional, or provincial level. Some examples include: Rec Directors, Rec Practitioners, Parks and Recreation staff, Fitness leaders and Facility operators/managers.
The Volunteer Champion Award honours an individual who contributes a significant portion of their leisure time to the parks and recreation industry, improving the health and wellbeing of individuals, their community, or the environment.
