SPRA Member Grants are now open for Spring applications. The grants available are listed below. These grants are available to eligible Active and Associate members of SPRA. Associate members must be a registered nonprofit, registered charitable organization or a school. SPRA membership must be current.
Please note, applicants can only receive one SPRA Members Grant per initiative each year.
All funds must be used within 12 months of the application deadline
Parks For All Action Grant
The Parks for All Action Grant supports the national Parks for All Action Plan and helps programs that work towards the Parks for All Vision. Applicants can apply for grants to a maximum of $5,000.
Framework in Action Grant
The Framework in Action Grant supports programs that help achieve the goals of The Framework for Recreation in Canada 2015 – Pathways to Wellbeing. Applicants can apply for grants to a maximum of $5,000.
Get Moving Grant
The Get Moving Grant supports programs that focus on the priorities in A Common Vision for Increasing Physical Activity and Reducing Sedentary Living in Canada (the Common Vision). The Common Vision is a national policy designed to encourage more physical activity and reduce inactive living.
