Join Us in Welcoming Melissa – the 2025 SPRA Youth Engagement and Parks Assistant

Hi, I'm Melissa Bang and I'm so excited to join the SPRA Team as the Youth Engagement and Parks Assistant this summer!

I'm currently a Health Studies student at the University of Saskatchewan and I'm passionate about all things movement, community, and enjoying the great outdoors. I teach dance and yoga, love baking, and you can usually find me camping, travelling, running around the park with my dog Daisy, spending time with my family & friends, or on the field cheering for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

This summer, I'm grateful to be involved in the Take the Lead, Play Leadership and Communities in Bloom programs, helping create fun, vibrant, and active communities across the province. I can't wait to meet and learn from all of you - the people who make parks and recreation so meaningful in Saskatchewan.
